The Send App allows users to transfer money in specific currencies based on their country of registration. Why Can't I Send Money in Other Currencies?

Recent updates to the Send App have been implemented to ensure smoother, more efficient, and cost-effective transactions. As a result, users can only send money in the currency of their signup country. This change aims to reduce transaction issues, improve success rates, and provide a seamless transaction experience every time you send money. If you have a Naira account, you can still send Naira via the bank transfer option, regardless of your signup country.

Changing Your Signup Country

If you wish to send money in a different currency, you can change your signup country. To do so, you must provide valid proof of residence in the new country. Please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team via the chat messenger in the app.

  2. Share a bank statement or utility bill (such as an energy bill or phone bill) as proof of residence in the new country.

Note:

  • The bank statement or utility bill must be issued within the last 3 months.

  • The document must clearly state your full name and address.
