Pay with Bank App (UK)
How do I pay with Bank App?:
To complete your transfer via this method;
-Select the Pay with bank account option on the payment page. You will be redirected to pay with your bank app.
-Select the bank you’ll be making the transfer from and you will be securely redirected to your bank’s portal to authenticate and make payment.
-Once done, your transfer will be processed to your recipient as soon as we receive the funds from your bank.
*Please note that you will be required to go through these steps each time you're adding a new bank account.
Which banks support “Pay with Bank App”?
Most major UK banks support “Pay with Bank App” through Open Banking. When you select the option, you will see a list of available banks.
Is “Pay with Bank App” secure?
Yes, it is highly secure. Your payments are authorized within your own bank’s secure environment. The process leverages Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) as required by UK financial regulations, so your details remain safe at all times.
What do I do when my attempt to “pay with bank app” fails?
If your payment fails, you’ll see a message on Send App explaining why. You can then try again or choose an alternative payment method (e.g card payment). Common reasons for failure could include insufficient funds, an expired banking session, or a technical issue with your bank. Are there extra fees or hidden charges when using Pay with Bank App?
Please note that we do not charge extra fees and there are no hidden charges when making payment with Bank app. The total amount you will pay for your transfer will be displayed on your screen when you initiate the transaction.
If you notice any extra charges, they’re likely from your bank, not Send App. We recommend checking directly with your bank for clarification.
